Man Critical in Pedestrian Accident on Charleston Boulevard at Commerce Street [Las Vegas, NV]

Man Struck and Critically Injured by Vehicle on Charleston Boulevard in Las Vegas

 
LAS VEGAS, NV (October 26, 2023) – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police confirmed that a man suffered critical injuries in a pedestrian accident on Charleston Boulevard on October 16.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Commerce Street around 1:23 AM. Based on a report, the pedestrian was crossing Charleston Boulevard outside of the marked crosswalk at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a 2005 Honda Accord traveling westbound on the road hit him.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered grave injuries. Emergency crews transported him to UMC Trauma with life-threatening injuries.
 
The Honda’s driver remained at the scene and did not show signs of impairment.
 
As of now, the collision remains under investigation by LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section.
