SUV and Semi-Truck Involved in Fatal Crash on Highway 167 in Auburn

 
AUBURN, WA (November 7, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a crash on Highway 167 on November 3.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Highway 18.
 
Based on a report, the victim was driving an SUV near the intersection prior to the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the vehicle left northbound lane and went over the barrier onto Highway 18. There, it crashed into a semi-truck, ejecting the driver to the roadway.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, an investigation is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
