Two Vehicles Involved in Fatal Lubbock County Car Accident on Farm-to-Market 2378

 
LUBBOCK COUNTY, TX (January 3, 2022) – The Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a car accident on Farm-to-Market 2378 on December 21.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at County Road 6500 just before 6:45 PM. Based on a report, one vehicle was traveling northbound on the road prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, a second car was going southbound. Due to unknown reasons, one vehicle crossed over the center stripe, causing a collision.
 
As a result, one of the drivers died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The other driver suffered injuries and was treated on the scene by emergency crews.
 
As of now, the accident is currently under investigation.
