Fatal Accident on Everett Mall Way at Evergreen Way in Everett

 
EVERETT, WA (July 16, 2023) – Officers confirmed that one person died in a car accident on Everett Mall Way on July 5.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Evergreen Way around 8:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim was a passenger in a vehicle that was going through the intersection.
 
Due to unknown reasons, the SUV crashed into a signpost.
 
As a result, the passenger sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Everett police arrested the driver for investigation of vehicular homicide. They booked him into the Snohomish County Jail.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
