AUSTIN, TX (January 23, 2024) — A person sustained serious injuries after a scooter accident on Rutland Drive on Thursday, January 18.
 
According to a tweet by the Austin-Travis County EMS at 7:51 p.m., the crash took place in the 1200 block of Rutland Drive near Stonebridge Drive.
 
Responding EMS crews transported the adult victim with life-threatening injuries to Dell Seton Medical Center. The patient’s current condition was not available after their transport.
 
Authorities have not released the circumstances surrounding the crash.
