CUPERTINO,CA (October 20, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on 280 Freeway on October 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Wolfe Road around 10:20 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was trying to cross the freeway at time of the crash. As the pedestrian ran from the shoulder into the no. 4 lane, a southbound 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe struck the victim. Subsequently, a Toyota Corolla came and struck them again.
 
As a result, the pedestrian died at the scene. The identity of the deceased remains unknown at this point.
 
Both drivers stopped at the scene and cooperated with investigating officers.
 
At this point, the CHP continues to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
