Alfredo Caal and Hugo Tiul Identified in Crash on Corcoran Road at McCombs Road in Wasco

 
WASCO,CA (October 20, 2022) – Police identified Lost Hills residents Alfredo Caal and Hugo Tiul as the victims who died in a crash on Corcoran Road on October 15.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at McCombs Road.
 
Based on a report, an Infiniti G37 was heading southbound on Corcoran while a Kia Spectra was northbound at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, the driver of the Infiniti allowed his vehicle to drift into the northbound lane and its left side struck left front side of the Kia.
 
The Kia spun around and came to rest on the right shoulder. The Infiniti continued across the southbound lane, crashing into a barbed wire fence.
 
As a result, the Kern County Coroner’s Office said Caal and Tiul died at the scene. They were occupants of the Kia.
 
The driver of the Infiniti sustained major injuries while two other people had moderate injuries.
 
At this point, the CHP continues to investigate the case. In addition, no other details are available.
