Hit-and-Run Driver Wanted after Dirt Bike Accident on 54th Street at Cimarron Street in Los Angeles

 
LOS ANGELES, CA (October 20, 2022) – Police confirmed the death of a 20-year-old man following a dirt bike accident on 54th Street on October 16.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Cimarron Street around 3:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the man was riding his dirt bike behind a dark-colored sedan on 54th prior to the crash. Subsequently, the car made a unsafe movement and the dirt bike crashed into its rear.
 
The rider was ejected from the dirt bike and the car’s driver fled the scene.
 
As a result, the dirt bike driver died at the California Hospital. officials did not yet release his name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, police ask anyone with information in this case to call Detective Maricela Sasaki or Officer Gerald Chavarria at the South Traffic Division at 323-421- 2500. In addition, the CHP continues to investigate the case.
