One Dies in Crash on Highway 94 at Peyton Highway [Colorado Springs, CO]

Fatal Crash on Highway 94 in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (November 28, 2023) – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a crash on Highway 94 on November 17.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at Peyton Highway shortly after 3:20 PM. Based on a report, a white Ford dually pickup with a horse trailer collided with an SUV.
 
As a result, the driver of the SUV suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Other passengers in the SUV sustained critical injuries.
 
The Sheriff’s Office announced road closures in the area to give law enforcement and medical crews room to work safely.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
