One Killed and Another Hospitalized after Multi-Vehicle Accident on West Davis Street

 
DALLAS, TX (September 23, 2024) — One person died in a multi-vehicle crash on West Davis Street on Monday, September 9.
 
According to the Dallas police, the multi-vehicle accident took place on the 2500 block of West Davis Street near Hampton Road at around 8:40 a.m.
 
Dallas Police said one driver traveled westbound on West Davis Street. Then someone driving a truck pulled out of a parking lot and collided with them.
 
Emergency responders arrived at the scene and extricated at least one person pinned in one of the vehicles. Then, they transported two injured people to the hospital. However, one of the injured victims later died.
 
Dallas police said the second person’s injuries were not life-threatening.
 
Footage from the scene showed a wrecked sedan and pickup truck. Both vehicles suffered front-end damage.
 
As of writing, there are no reports yet if any charges will be filed.
 
The investigation into the accident is still underway.
