School Bus Involved in Accident on Highway 2 in Colbert

 
COLBERT, WA (September 23, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that a driver was hurt in a school bus accident on Highway 2 on September 11.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at Colbert Road. Based on a report, the driver was driving a white car near the intersection before the crash.
 
At the same time, a school bus with four kids onboard was heading north on Highway 2. As the bus tried to turn left onto Colbert Road, the car crashed into it. The impact pushed the car into a dump truck next to a nearby stop sign.
 
As a result, the driver of the white car sustained a broken finger in the crash. WSP said all injuries were minor.
 
Another bus was sent to pick up the students who were on the bus during the crash.
