COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (April 30, 2024) – The Colorado Springs Police Department confirmed that one person suffered critical injuries in a multi-vehicle crash on East Woodmen Road on April 7.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the crash happened at North Union Boulevard at approximately 12:15 PM. Based on a report, four vehicles collided at the intersection.
 
As a result, one person was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
 
The Colorado Springs Fire Department said HazMat, a Medical Lieutenant, and AMR responded to the scene. Crews took multiple people to the hospital for treatment of injuries.
 
Police said speed, red light running and drugs are all considered factors in the crash.
