CLEVELAND, TX (June 25, 2023) – Officials identified 38-year-old Olgae Cruz De Granados who died in a pedestrian accident on FM 2025 on June 16.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened just northwest of FM 945 around 6:50 AM. Based on a report, the victim was walking southbound on the shoulder of FM 2025 at the time of the crash.
 
Suddenly, a southbound vehicle struck her.
 
Troopers said she sustained grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The 17-year-old male driver told investigators that he fell asleep and his vehicle drifted onto the shoulder, where he hit De Granados.
