Officer Suffers Injuries After Los Angeles Pursuit Crash on 101 Freeway
LOS ANGELES, CA (February 27, 2025) – A Los Angeles Police Department officer sustained injuries following a pursuit crash on 101 Freeway early Friday morning, February 21.
The incident occurred near Tampa Avenue at around 3:15 a.m., according to the LAPD.
Officials stated that three to four men were spotted with burglary tools while leaving a business establishment in the 15300 block of Sherman Way.
Law enforcement then trailed the suspects, all of whom rode a white Mercedes and traveled at a high rate of speed.
The chase concluded when officers figured in an accident near Tampa Avenue and 101 Freeway.
One of the officers suffered minor injuries.
Meanwhile, the suspects remain at large, as they bailed out of the Mercedes at Burbank Boulevard.
The case is still under investigation, and the search for the victim continues.
