Newark Car Crash on Highway 84, Norma Hall Dies

 
NEWARK, CA (August 22, 2022) – One person died following a two-car crash on Highway 84 on Tuesday evening, August 16.

According to the California Highway Patrol, they responded to the fatal crash around 9:09 p.m., where two vehicles crashed just east of the Newark Boulevard on-ramp.

A woman was later pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts by Alameda County Fire Department firefighters. The Alameda County Sheriff’s Office coroner’s bureau identified her Wednesday afternoon as 70-year-old Norma Hall of Fremont.

At least one more person suffered injuries but their condition is still unknown.
