LIND, WA (December 5, 2023) — A man identified as 31-year-old Nicholas Cooper, of Lakewood, Washington, died in a hit-and-run on Friday, October 27.
 
According to the Washington State Police, the accident occurred on southbound U.S. Highway 395 at milepost 81 at around 3:30 a.m.
 
Police said they found Cooper in the roadway as they drove in the area. They already notified his loved ones.
 
Authorities said the car involved in the hit-and-run was possibly white. In addition, they said the driver may have not noticed striking the pedestrian.
