Motorcycle Rider Dead in Boulder Accident on Highway 36 and Neva Access Road

 
BOULDER, CO (August 6, 2024) — A motorcyclist died in a three-vehicle accident on Highway 36 in Boulder County on Monday, July 15.
 
According to Colorado State Patrol Trooper Gabriel Moltrer, they received reports of the fatal crash near Highway 36 and Neva Access Road at around 2:37 p.m.
 
Later, troopers received notification that the incident involved three vehicles, including a motorcycle.
 
Boulder County Sheriff’s Office Public Information Officer Vinnie Montez said that responding officers pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene. They have not yet released the identity of the rider.
 
In addition, there are no reports of whether impairment or speed was a factor in the crash.
 
Moltrer also said that officers closed both directions of Highway 36 at the crash site. Additionally, they also diverted northbound traffic to Neva Road.
 
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the accident.
