Motorcycle Rider Dies in Accident on East Smoky Hill Road in Centennial

 
CENTENNIAL, CO (August 6, 2024) – The Arapahoe County Sheriff’s Office confirmed that one person died in a motorcycle accident on East Smoky Hill Road on July 16.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the collision happened at South Waco Street around 3:00 PM. Based on a report, the victim’s motorcycle collided with a vehicle.
 
Officials did not release details that led to the crash but confirmed that the rider suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not release the victim’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
Crews closed Smoky Hill Road while they worked on the crash.
