GRASS VALLEY, CA (November 16, 2022) — A motorcyclist died while Ryan Milligan got arrested in a suspected DUI crash on Rough and Ready Highway on Thursday night, November 10.

The fatal collision occurred in an unincorporated area in Nevada County, according to the California Highway Patrol which received a call of alert at around 10:00 p.m. It involved a 2001 GMC Sierra and a Suzuki motorcycle.

Authorities said Milligan was allegedly drunk while driving a GMC at a high rate of speed on westbound Rough and Ready Highway near West Drive.

The GMC then rear ended the westbound Suzuki, operated by a 41-year-old Nevada County man.

The force of the impact ejected the man from his motorcycle while the GMC crashed into a living room of a nearby house.

Respondents rendered aid and airlifted the motorcyclist to a medical center, where he later died.

Meanwhile, Milligan survived the incident with minor injuries.

Police are conducting an investigation at this time.
