Motorcyclist Fatally Injured in Dallas Hit-and-Run on 20 Freeway

 
DALLAS, TX (April 30, 2024) — A motorcyclist suffered fatal injuries following a hit-and-run on 20 Freeway on Monday, April 22.
 
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at about 2:30 a.m. on 20 Freeway at Cedar Ridge Drive.
 
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle crashed with a motorcycle in the westbound lanes of the freeway.
 
The impact of the crash caused the motorcyclist to fall off the bike. After that, a one 18-wheeler and another vehicle hit the rider. He died at the scene.
 
Deputies said multiple vehicles stopped to give aid to the motorcyclist. However, the driver who caused the initial collision did not.
 
Authorities continue to search for that hit-and-run driver. They haven’t released the make and model of the vehicle. However, they said it probably has front-end and windshield damage.
