SACRAMENTO, CA (December 19, 2022) – A motorcyclist died in an accident involving three vehicles on Interstate 80 on Tuesday, December 13.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near the transition ramp for Interstate 5. Based on reports, a sedan, a big rig, and a motorcycle were discovered at the scene when the authorities arrived.

A motorcyclist – who was believed to be in his 40s – sustained major injuries and died.

There are no reports yet regarding the condition of those involved.

The investigation is ongoing and details are not available. However, drugs and alcohol did not contribute to the crash.
