Mohammad Abdelraheem Dies after Grapevine Truck Accident on Highway 121

 
GRAPEVINE, TX (April 30, 2024) — 27-year-old Mohammad Ahmed Abdelraheem died after a truck accident on Tuesday, April 16.
 
According to the Grapevine Police Department, the multi-vehicle accident happened on the 2000 block of North Highway 121 just before noon.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered Abdelraheem on the roadway with major injuries. In addition, they found his tow truck with rear damage around 30 feet behind him.
 
The driver of a work truck who admitted that he crashed into the tow truck remained at the scene. He did not sustain injuries. He told officers that he fell asleep and did not wake up until he felt the impact of the collision.
 
Emergency responders transported Abdelraheem to the hospital. The next day, hospital staff notified Grapevine police he died from internal injuries.
 
Grapevine police continue to investigate the incident. As of writing, there have been no arrests made.
