Misty Dorries Identified in Fatal Accident on Highway 385 in Andrews County

 
ANDREWS COUNTY, TX (December 22, 2022) – Police identified 37-year-old Misty Dawn Dorries of Andrews as the victim who died in a car accident on Highway 385 on December 19.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at around 5:00 PM. Based on a report, Dorries was in a 2004 Buick LeSabre traveling westbound at NW 1500.
 
At the same time, a 2021 Ford F-150 was traveling southbound on the highway. Subsequently, the Buick attempted to cross both southbound and struck the passenger side of the Ford.
 
As a result, Dorries suffered severe injuries. Paramedics transported her to Permian Regional Medical Center, where she died.
 
The driver of the Buick LeSabre was stable in Medical Center Hospital, while the driver of the Ford F-150 was transported to Permian Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
 
The investigation is still ongoing.
