Micheal Garcia Arrested after Crashing Vehicle in Lubbock

 
LUBBOCK, TX (December 22, 2022) – The Lubbock Police Department arrested 32-year-old Micheal Garcia following a crash in the 5100 block of 46th Street on December 18.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at approximately 3:51 AM. Based on a report, Garcia crashed his car into a parked vehicle.
 
Subsequently, he exited the car, removed an infant from a car seat, and ran from the scene. A witness managed to pull the infant from his arms.
 
Later on, police found Garcia in the 5100 block of Utica Avenue. The police report said Garcia was uncooperative, noting he smelled like alcohol with red, glassy eyes. They arrested him for driving while intoxicated and crashing with an infant in the vehicle.
 
As of now, the investigation is still ongoing.
