Kevin Skogmo Identified in Fatal Rollover Crash on Highway 395 in Reno

 
RENO, NV (December 22, 2022) – Police identified 52-year-old Kevin Skogmo of Gardnerville as the victim who died in a rollover crash on Highway 395 on December 16.
 
According to the Nevada State Police, Skogmo was driving a 2019 Nissan Rogue on the highway prior to the crash. At the same time, Paul Simpson was driving a black 2018 GMC Sierra K2500 Denali pickup truck southbound on the highway.
 
Due to unknown reasons, Simpson allowed the truck to cross the centerline and into the path of Skogmo’s car, causing it to overturn.
 
As a result, Skogmo died at the scene.
 
Simpson remained at the scene and is cooperating with law enforcement.
 
At this point, the investigation is still ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
