SANTA CLARITA, CA (November 10, 2022) —Miguel Guarchaj Rosario died following a crash on 5 Freeway early Monday morning, November 7.

The fatal collision occurred at around 3:13 a.m. south of Highway 126 and Newhall Ranch Road, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Authorities said a car slammed into a disabled vehicle which had no lights on.

The force of impact caused one vehicle to rest on its side while inflicting fatal injuries to a man, who died at the scene.

CHP issued a SigAlert at 3:14 a.m., blocking off all southbound lanes. The incident is still under investigation.
