Michael Henderson Dead after Bryan Accident on Highway 6 near Old Bryan Highway

 
BRYAN, TX (June 25, 2024) — A 64-year-old Bryan man identified as Michael Henderson died in a two-vehicle accident on Sunday, June 9.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash took place on Highway 6 near Old Bryan Highway at about 12:25 p.m.
 
Texas DPS said the initial investigation determined that a 1999 Lincoln Town Car driven by Henderson made a U-turn and tried to move northbound. Then a 2016 Toyota Camry moving north crashed into the rear of the town vehicle.
 
The impact ejected Henderson from the vehicle. A Robertson County Justice of the Peace officer pronounced him dead at the scene.
 
The driver of the Toyota and three passengers sustained serious injuries. Paramedics then transported them to CHI St. Joseph Regional Health Hospital in Bryan.
 
DPS officials handle the ongoing investigation of the crash.
