17-Year-Old Killed in Motorcycle Crash on North Sandario Road in Tucson

 
TUCSON, AZ (June 17, 2023) – The Pima County Sheriff’s Department arrested 42-year-old Martin Craig following a fatal motorcycle crash on North Sandario Road on June 11.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at West Desert Wren Drive around 4:11 PM. Based on a report, a 17-year-old male was driving the motorcycle northbound on Sandario prior to the crash.
 
At the same time, Craigbwas driving a Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound on the same road. As Craig attempted to turn left onto Desert Wren, he struck the motorcycle.
 
As a result, the PCSD said the teen suffered life-threatening injuries. Emergency crews took the victim to the hospital, where he died.
 
Deputies arrested Craig for causing death by a moving violation.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
