Marquita Pollion Fatally Injured in Temple Pedestrian Accident
TEMPLE, TX (March 14, 2024) — A 58-year-old woman identified as Marquita Pollion, of Temple, died in a pedestrian accident on Friday, March 1.
According to the Temple Police Department, the accident took place in the 4300 block of South 31st Street at about 7:30 p.m.
Officers discovered that a vehicle struck Pollion on South 31st Street. Then bystanders administered CPR on Pollion until Temple Fire & Rescue and Emergency Medical Services arrived.
An ambulance transported Pollion to Baylor Scott & White Medical Center. However, she succumbed to her injuries and medical officers pronounced her dead. Temple Police said they had notified her next of kin.
Officers said the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene of the crash.
Temple Police continue to investigate the crash.
