Girl Dies in Semi-Truck Crash on 25 Freeway [Pueblo, CO]

Juvenile Fatally Injured after Pueblo Accident on 25 Freeway

 
PUEBLO, CO (March 15, 2024) — A girl suffered fatal injuries in a semi-truck crash on 25 Freeway on Monday, March 4.
 
While investigating the Pueblo Police Department, police said the crash occurred at about 7:45 a.m. on the 25 Freeway near the McCulley Avenue exit.
 
Police said the accident happened when a pickup truck rear-ended a semi.
 
When officers arrived at the scene, they found the passenger of the pickup truck trapped inside the vehicle. According to PPD, officers administered life-saving measures. However, the girl died on the scene.
 
PPD said the Pueblo County Coroner will identify the victim after they notify their loved ones.
 
The crash is the second traffic fatality in Pueblo in 2024, PPD said.
