Man Killed, Three Injured after Two-Car Accident on Westpark Drive near Dunvale Road

 
HOUSTON, TX (March 15, 2024) — A man suffered fatal injuries in a two-car crash on Westpark Drive on Tuesday, March 5.
 
According to Commander Zachary Becker with the Houston Police Department’s Midwest division, the crash took place on Westpark Drive near Dunvale Road shortly after 10:00 a.m.
 
The driver of a gray Honda Pilot moved eastbound on Westpark Drive. Then he made an unsafe lane change. After that, a gray Toyota Camry struck the Honda.
 
First responders pronounced the driver of the Honda dead at the scene.
 
Paramedics brought the two other men riding in the Honda to an area hospital in critical but stable condition.  They also rushed a fourth man to the hospital as a precaution.
 
The driver of the Camry was not hurt. Authorities questioned and then released him.
 
Police said it doesn’t appear that alcohol contributed to the crash.
 
Houston police handle the ongoing investigation.
