Maritza Flores Dies After Car Accident in Moreno Valley

 
MORENO VALLEY, CA (January 12, 2024) — 29-year-old Maritza Flores lost her life in a single-vehicle crash on Eucalyptus Avenue and Sweetspice Street on January 6.

According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the accident happened at 6:51 p.m. at the intersection.

Based on reports, the driver of a Nissan Altima lost control of the vehicle and crashed into a power pole. The details surrounding the incident are still under investigation.

Due to impact, one person sustained fatal injuries. She was soon identified as Flores of San Bernardino.

Responders sent the other occupant to the hospital with serious injuries via ground ambulance.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is also at the scene to respond.
