Jaden Woods Dies in Odessa Car-Pedestrian Accident

 
ODESSA, TX (January 12, 2024) – Jaden Woods died following a crash on JBS Parkway/Parkway Boulevard and Maple Avenue on Wednesday, January 3.

According to the Odessa Police Department, the crash happened around 6:41 p.m. It involved a black Ford Explorer, police said.

Initial investigation reported that while going north on the 3000 block of North JBS Parkway, the Ford Explorer merged into the left-turn lane and struck Woods who was standing in the roadway.

21-year-old Woods died at the scene, police said.

The crash remains under investigation.
