Maria Estrada Killed in Bicycle Accident on Montgomery Avenue at Nuevo Road [Nuevo, CA]

Maria Estrada Identified in Fatal Accident in Nuevo

 
NUEVO, CA (January 17, 2022) – Police identified 38-year-old Maria Estrada of Perris after a fatal bicycle accident in the 30700 block of Montgomery Avenue on January 12.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened just north of Nuevo Road around 7:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, Estrada was riding with another cyclist at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit her.
 
As a result, Riverside County Fire Department crews pronounced her dead at the scene.
 
There was no word on the condition of the second cyclist.
 
As of now, CHP ask anyone with information to contact the CHP’s Riverside office at 951-637-8000. In addition, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
