Man Struck and Injured by Possible DUI Driver Brian Trejo in Desert Hot Springs

 
DESERT HOT SPRINGS, CA (January 17, 2022) – Police arrested 32-year-old Brian Trejo of Desert Hot Springs after a pedestrian accident on Palm Drive on January 9.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Two Bunch Palms Trail around 7:27 PM. Based on a report, a 59-year-old man was crossing the road at the time of the crash.
 
At that time, Trejo was driving southbound on Palm Drive. Due to unknown reasons, he struck the pedestrian.
 
As a result, the pedestrian suffered serious injuries in the incident. Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital for treatment.
 
Police arrested Trejo on suspicion of two counts of causing an injury while driving under the influence.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing.
