Margaret Reavis and Letha Frost Die in Tyler Crash

 
TYLER, TX (September 26, 2023)Margaret Reavis and Letha Frost died in a car crash on Friday, September 22.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the crash happened on Highway 31 near FM 757 at around 9:38 a.m.
 
DPS said 59-year-old Reavis, of Texarkana, Arkansas, traveled east on Highway 31 in the right lane with 49-year-old Letha Frost, of Tyler, and a 3-year-old child. At the same time, 26-year-old 26-year-old Ryan Wilcoxson Jr. of Tyler traveled behind Reavis in the left lane.
 
Reavis slowed to make a U-turn. Then she made an unsafe turn in front of Wilcoxson, DPS stated. It resulted in Wilcoxson crashing into Reavis.
 
Both Reavis and Frost died at the scene. Paramedics transported the 3-year-old to Children’s Hospital in Dallas with serious injuries.
 
Medics also rushed Wilcoxson to Christus Mother Francis in Tyler with minor injuries.
 
DPS said all involved in the crash wore a seatbelt. They added that the collision happened during clear weather and dry road conditions.
