14-Year-Old Yvanna Vejar Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Marana

 
MARANA, AZ (September 26, 2023) – Phoenix Police detectives identified 14-year-old Yvanna Vejar who died in a pedestrian accident on 10 Freeway on September 9.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at the Marana Road exit. Based on a report, the Marana High School student was running across the freeway at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, two vehicles struck her.
 
As a result, Vejar suffered grave injuries and died in the accident.
 
Her family crated a GoFundMe page that raised nearly $5,000.
