Marcos Stone Struck and Killed by Vehicle in Amarillo

 
AMARILLO, TX (September 12, 2023) – Amarillo Police officers identified 31-year-old Marcos Stone who died in a pedestrian accident on Amarillo Boulevard West on August 31.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Ong Street around 10:14 PM. Based on a report, Stone was trying to cross Amarillo Boulevard at the time of the crash.
 
When he ran across the street, an SUV traveling westbound hit him.
 
As a result, Stone sustained grave injuries in the incident. Crews transported him to an area hospital, where he later died.
