19-Year-Old Motorcyclist Nevon Miller Identified in Fatal Suncrest Accident

 
SUNCREST, WA (September 12, 2023) – Troopers identified 19-year-old Nevon Miller of Spokane who died in a crash on Highway 291 on September 1.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened Blackstone Way around 11:30 AM. Based on a report, Miller was riding his motorcycle north on the highway at a high rate of speed prior to the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, he struck a southbound 2021 Subaru Outback turning east on Blackstone Way. The impact threw Miller about 50 feet from his motorcycle.
 
As a result, Miller suffered grave injuries and died at the scene.
 
The driver of the Subaru, 76-year-old William Stewart of Nine Mile Falls, was taken to Providence Holy Family Hospital with injuries.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
