Two Injured in Two-Car Accident on Sahara Avenue near Nellis Boulevard
LAS VEGAS, NV (January 16, 2024) — Two people sustained injuries in a car crash on Sahara Avenue on Tuesday, January 9.
According to Metro Police, the accident happened at around 7:45 a.m. on Sahara Avenue near Nellis Boulevard, east of Lamont Street.
Police said a vehicle made a left turn onto Sahara from a private drive. Then it crashed with a minivan moving east.
Paramedics rushed the driver of the vehicle, a 35-year-old Las Vegas woman, to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver of the other vehicle, a 25-year-old Las Vegas man, had minor injuries. He stayed at the scene and did not show any signs of intoxication.
Police said the crash is still under investigation.
