HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA (January 9, 2022) – The Huntington Beach Police Department confirmed that one person died in a pedestrian accident on Slater Avenue on December 30.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Keelson Lane shortly before 7:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was walking on a crosswalk at the time of the crash. Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle struck him.
 
As a result, the victim died in the incident. Officials only identified him as a 49-year-old man.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
