EL PASO, TX (October 31, 2022) – Police found one person dead following a pedestrian accident in the 5400 block of Mesa Street on October 27.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened near Festival Drive around 8:40 PM.
 
Based on a report, the El Paso Fire Department received a call about the incident. Upon arrival, officers found a pedestrian down in the roadway.
 
El Paso police said the victim died after getting struck by a vehicle. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s name, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, the fatal crash remains under investigation. In addition, no other details are available.
