Pickup Truck Catches Fire in Fatal Crash on Loop 12 at Northwest Highway in Dallas

 
DALLAS, TX (October 31, 2022) – Police confirmed that one person died in a pickup truck crash on Loop 12 on October 29.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Northwest Highway around 3:45 AM.
 
Based on a report, the pickup was exiting the freeway prior to the crash. Subsequently, it crashed into the back of an 18-wheeler. The pickup truck caught fire shortly after the crash.
 
As a result, Dallas County Sheriff’s Office deputies said one person was trapped and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s identity pending kin notification.
 
Two people were able to get out of the vehicle but their condition is unknown.
 
As of now, the authorities are investigating the crash.
