TUCSON, AZ (April 11, 2024) – The Tucson Police Department confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on East 22nd Street on April 3.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at South 4th Avenue around 6:30 PM. Based on a report, the man was using a walker at the time of the crash.
 
He was not in a crosswalk when a vehicle came and hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
The driver involved was not impaired.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
