Man Struck and Killed by Big Rig on Breen Drive in Houston

 
HOUSTON, TX (February 21, 2023) – Officers confirmed that a man died in a pedestrian accident on Breen Drive on February 15.
 
According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Tabernash Drive shortly before 10:00 PM.
 
Based on a report, the victim was dancing in the street at the time of the accident. Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office said that while doing so, a big rig came and hit him.
 
As a result, the man suffered injuries and died in the incident. Officers did not yet release his identity, pending kin notification.
 
The big rig driver stopped and cooperated with officers. Deputies believed that poor lighting played a factor in the crash.
 
However, the case remains under investigation.
