Fatal Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 41 in Fresno

 
FRESNO, CA (December 12, 2022) – Police confirmed that a man in his 60s died in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 41 on December 10.
 
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened near East Mountain View Avenue shortly before 5:00 PM. Based on a report, the man was traveling south of the highway prior to the crash.
 
Subsequently, officials said he possibly had a medical emergency that led him to drive about 80 miles per hour before. After that, his truck slammed into the back of a Range Rover, which then hit another truck.
 
As a result, the man died in the incident. Officials did not release his name, pending next of kin notification.
 
The vehicles ended up on the side of the highway so traffic was not shut down.
 
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
