GLENDALE, AZ (October 30, 2024) – The Glendale Police Department confirmed that a 78-year-old man died in a hit-and-run on 45th Avenue on October 16.
 
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the collision happened at Glendale Avenue shortly before 7:00 AM. Based on a report, a vehicle hit the man and fled the scene.
 
As a result, the victim suffered critical injuries in the incident. First responders took him to the hospital, where he later died. Officials did not release his name, pending kin notification.
 
Police described the hit-and-run vehicle as a white sedan of unknown make and model that should have damage to the front-end.
