Fatal Rollover Crash on 25 Freeway in Colorado Springs

 
COLORADO SPRINGS, CO (October 30, 2024) – Authorities confirmed that one person died in a rollover crash on 25 Freeway on October 14.
 
According to the Colorado State Patrol, the accident happened at North Gate Boulevard. Based on a report, a truck and two vehicles collided near North Gate Boulevard.
 
Due to impact, the CSP said truck rolled off the side of the freeway.
 
As a result, a 69-year-old man from Palmer Lake, suffered grave injuries in the incident. Emergency crews rushed him to a hospital, where he later died. Officials did not release his name, pending notification of next of kind.
 
The crash has closed two southbound lanes between Northgate Boulevard and Baptist Road exits. CSP urged travelers to find alternative route. They also said they are still investigating if there were other involved parties and the total number of vehicles involved in the crash.
 
As of now, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
