Man Struck and Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver on 307th Place in Auburn

 
AUBURN, WA (October 31, 2023) – The Auburn Police Department confirmed that a man died in a hit-and-run on 307th Place on October 22.
 
According to the Washington State Patrol, the collision happened at 124th Avenue around 1:00 AM. Based on a report, the 33-year-old man was walking in front of Lea Hill Elementary School at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a vehicle hit him and then fled the scene. Police described the vehicle as a metallic gray 2023 Nissan Altima.
 
As a result, the man sustained grave injuries and died at the scene. Police did not yet release the victim’s name, pending kin notification.
 
Police are urging anyone walking late at night to avoid wearing dark clothing. They also suggest wearing a light or reflectors.
 
At this point, an investigation into the case is ongoing. In addition, no other details are available.
