HENDERSON, NV (October 31, 2023) – The Henderson Police Department confirmed that one person died in a bicycle accident on Lake Las Vegas Parkway on October 17.
 
According to the Nevada State Police Highway Patrol, the collision happened at Montelago Boulevard around 6:40 AM. Based on a report, the bicyclist was traveling near the intersection at the time of the crash.
 
Due to unknown reasons, a commercial vehicle pulling two trailing units struck the cyclist.
 
As a result, the victim suffered grave injuries and died in the incident. Officials did not yet release the deceased’s identity, pending kin notification.
 
As of now, the collision remains under investigation by LVMPD’s Collision Investigation Section. In addition, no other details are available.
